What was the idea behind the show? It seems like female icons - from Jean Harlow, to Bridgette Bardot, Louise Brookes to Blondie, to (I HATE to say it and desperately hope I am wrong) Lady Gaga?
In retrospect, it was a stupid thing to ask, as it's more Mugler and Gaultier in the 90's. They came first, did these designs, and long before she did. Yves Saint Laurent, really, did the cone bra Madonna/Gaultier did, and which Lady Gaga has tried to adopt. The theme, as noted in interview, was a movie he saw as a child about a man who loved to design (how fitting), and film stars past and present.
It reminded me of when Chanel "adopted" Amy Winehouse for a while, parts of her look had existed before, but that collection still was a bit sparked by her emergence in pop culture. In this collection, I saw the metallic corset with the fur cape (walking away at 2:22) and my mind went straight to Lady Gaga.
I've thought about that too, Lady Gaga references was all over the couture shows, one might ask who is being influenced by who but you must give her credit. She owns the pantless look!

5 Stars ErichBen. You posted this so quickly.
If you listen around 2:09, you can hear two men argueing (I assume photographers), in English. Kind of funny.
