Beautiful if you look up American Airlines 9/11 commercial, you'll se they took some of that commercial and used in this new version. I just gained a whole bunch of respect for them. I think I'll fly AA next time.
I have travelled more than 40000 miles on AA. They definitely have one of the best ground customer services in the world. They will somehow take you to your destination during any unforeseen events. They only need to upgrade the in flight services. I have found many of the flight stewards pretty rude, food quantity is extremely less, poor IFE, and so on.
I've felt a connection to AA due to frequent travel and super local crew but this week customer relations demonstrated disrespectful, short-sighted customer service with no resolution or even acknowledgment. A respectful discussion would have retained my business. I'm sad to go - time to build status with an airline who is customer focused.
Bears the name "AMERICAN' ? As far as I know AMERICAN is any body who is from the states to Argentina. Why gringos think AMERICAN refer ONLY to them? We have Notrh America, Central America and South America.
I have nothing nice to say about AA... I was with TWA for 35 years and thanks to Ichan and AA, I was let go in 2002 thanks to AA!! Since then, I have fought AA to get my retirement and my benefits which I finally got, and....never will I patronize AA or fly them...ever!!!!! AA lied to us about keeping our jobs....boy were we fools!! I'm sorry...but I hate AA and will NEVER step foot on ANY of their flights....EVER!
This was beautiful, just beautiful. I just flew AA the other day and had a very nice trip. Everyone from the airport staff to the flight crews were very nice, professional, polite, and the flight attendants in coach even smiled and interacted with the passengers. It was nice, however I would say your flight attendants need new uniforms. They wore them professionally, but they look dated and tired. If the FA's had perms with huge hair sprayed bangs and giant earing from 1995, then they might work
I love American! I'm a future flight attendant and after doing plenty of research I've come to the conclusion that I would be more than proud to fly for American. That's coming from a British person! BA have gone down the pan! I'm sure that I'll be a great Crew Member, the question is, are American ready for me?

Once on a American Eagle flight from ORD-GRR, someone next to me simply asked the Flight Attendant when we were taking off as we were already about 25 minutes late. The Flight Attendant stuck her hand out at the passenger and walked away. I called AA Customer Service regarding the Flight Attendant. And, they basically refused to apologize saying they could offer me no compensation. I didn't want compensation, just an apology!
every airlines starts their announcements with the language of the country its flying out of with the exception of AA who has the need to start in english with flight coming out of Mexico......

Fly American Airlines: they do lose your bags for more than two days, but they still find it!
They send your bags to your home, but not before having their delivery company STEALING your goods and forcing you to go to the POLI...CE DEPARTMENT to check which of those bags were yours!
They take NO RESPONSABILITY about by: “Sorry, there is nothing I can do”. But you still get some mileage points after your trip!

American Airlines ain't the same as they were before. Last time i flew with them was 12 January. The route was Managua-Miami. About an 3 hour flight. We got no food or drink on the whole trip. The turbulence was horrible and they didn't tell us nothing. They're stewardresses are old angry b*tches. And in 2008 my flight were Heathrow-Miami. They had an bird stuck in the motor. We had to wait about 5 hours in the airport. Again no food or drink. But for some reason i just can't hate AA.

Hey American. Don't make the same mistake the new United will do and get rid of their tulip logo and colors for Continental's. Keep the bare metal with the red/white/blue and the ICONIC AA logo with the Eagle. This scheme is NOT outdated by any means. I feel PROUD to be an American and fly on your flights all the time from JFK-LHR/SFO. Logos go a LONG way with consumers, and AA's is, as I said, ICONIC and legendary, truly... never gets old, keep up the AAwsome work :)

As of today, december 4th, Pan Am ceased operations 18 years ago. to this day, no one has come close to replace them. Then TWA left. And American has failed to leave costumers completely satisfied. This seems to me to be part of one of AAL's newest pushes. Great advertising as always, although seems almost like an internal video to me (Like "Delivering the promise," that one's fun, still on AATV). Was this released around the same time as the "American Airlines - We Are Family" initiative? OneStop keeps giving me that when I swipe my card... and an employee terminal at DFW gave me it too!! This is THE worst airline that is TOO BIG to fail and they know it. Their planes are poorly maintained which has earned them the worst safety record out of any airline in the US. They defer maintenance just to save a buck, resulting in large cracks in their wings that could make the engines snap off during flight. They let their disgruntled workers keep manuals with safety sensitive info. so that they can share it with terrorist groups. Good job AA!

Look at it this way, if you are one of the first airlines to buy an airplane, obviously you'll have a possibility of being the first to crash it because that is natural. Take a pill of common sense would you? Most of AA pilots at least know how to handle a bad situation, unlike some others I know. Also, not a single company in the world is perfect. So suck it up.

Hey American. Don't make the same mistake the new United will do and get rid of their tulip logo and colors for Continental's. Keep the bare metal with the red/white/blue and the ICONIC AA logo with the Eagle. This scheme is NOT outdated by any means. I feel PROUD to be an American and fly on your flights all the time from JFK-LHR/SFO. Logos go a LONG way with consumers, and AA's is, as I said, ICONIC and legendary, truly... never gets old, keep up the AAwsome work :)

Worst Airlines Ever, If you wish to argue when you have no food for DFW-hawaii 7 hour flight go for it. I take a short 30 minute klm trip from amsterdam-london and i get a sandwich, cookie, drink, and a joghurt WTF PLEASE GIVE US food (and im not fat) your service is shitty too. my dad flys w/ u in BUSINESS class and gets no food again from Chicago-DFW wow your a pathetic airlines thats going bankrupt Please anyone fly with delta!

As of today, december 4th, Pan Am ceased operations 18 years ago. to this day, no one has come close to replace them. Then TWA left. And American has failed to leave costumers completely satisfied. I just wish american can become more like Pan Am. And with better service, i would guarantee that American will take over airline industry

Their advertisement sucked, their prices were not the cheapest, and they were so popular that not only it was a 20th century icon, but it was also an icon for terrorists. Pan am flights had several bombings. So people were afraid. But Pan am was amazing. With all the flights they had, the amount of accidents is very little. Rip pan am, 1927-1991

This seems to me to be part of one of AAL's newest pushes. Great advertising as always, although seems almost like an internal video to me (Like "Delivering the promise," that one's fun, still on AATV). Was this released around the same time as the "American Airlines - We Are Family" initiative? OneStop keeps giving me that when I swipe my card... and an employee terminal at DFW gave me it too!! Maybe they'll play us a video soon, more entertaining than the damn ribbon.
