  • great soundtrack. Loved the idea of telling a story around a simple concept portrayed through something even smaller like the quote, "If you risk nothing, then you risk everything."

HIS NAME WILL DOWN WITH THE GREATS: Hitchcock, Spielberg, Scorsese, etc.

  • inspirational. you always find ways to make the most beautiful shots in the not always beautiful places. I loved the incorporation of the movie title and the actual streets in los angeles. great use of setting and i loved the split screen where you tricked us! thanks for making my day, im going to go and find the girl of my dreams now.

  • "If you risk nothing, then you risk everything." I believe in this quote.

  • loved everything about this short. great sound track. Loved the intro. good job man. I honestly have enjoyed every film you have created.

  • Mr. Nguyen, you have outdone yourself once again. Dude you got some fancy camerawork in this hahaha. Props to DinhChoe hehe.

Just a thought I had: I sort of feel like there should be no words at all (mirror scene) It sort of threw me off because it left more to be desired but there was no speaking through the rest of the film.

And I like the ending it felt very open to interpretation. Either he is moving on, or he's still going after her. I don't even know. I'd say the former?

  • wonderful short! keep following your dreams justin! :) good luck!

  • every scene from beginning to end and how they transitioned so well perfectly exemplifies the meaning of the quote. impressive, justin.

  • Great job! Reminds me of how much I love LA.

  • Really masterful. It's clear in every shot that you have great vision for your projects, and also being aware of how small your crew is impressive. Some of the running is a bit awkward but regardless you edited around it well. I wish I knew how you come up with your ideas. -Tim

  • very impressive justin

transitions and everything flowed really well

the ending w/ the quote fit perfectly =]

  • I absolutely adore this. Wonderful job, Justin!

  • Sweet job man! CTPR 290 got nothin on this. I really dig the music too and the editing. Whatʻd you guys shoot on?

  • Great short, Justin. The shots were good, the soundtrack was perfect, and I like how much you got across without dialogue.

At the same time, I know how good you are with words, so I'm looking forward to a short with some more.

  • Hey Justin I don't know if you remember me but we went to NYLC together.. Bro this is really good
