She's not miming, you can tell that there is a delay and then there's even a part when she's a little ahead of the music and she holds out to let it catch up. I'm very impressed with her and her voice. I've watched this video many times, her parents, I'm sure are very proud of her. Watch her other videos, and learn to say things respectfully.

Wow! Hailey is a truly talented young girl! I think that I like her Husky Idol one better, though. It's much more Galinda. Though her voice is better here. She's an alto, I think...she seems to have a difficult time hitting those high notes...but she's fantastic! She would be a good Cosette or Eponine in Les Mis...does she know Les Mis? She should sing On My Own!

I do not care what ANYBODY says, this girl is absolutely AMAZING! She has a definately god given talen that she should use (like she is thankfully). I am currently 12 and an actress and singer. I played Helen Keller a month ago in The Miracle Worker and was Mirhette in Mirhette(SP). I only hope I sound as amazing as that though, she has a beautiful voice. PLEASE don't let voice lessons ruin the pure quality of this adorable girls voice. I have seen so many girls that were exceptional singers, but voice lessons added unecessary vibrato and a "singing in the back of the throat" quality to their voice- PLEASE don't let them do that to her- all she needs is practice NOT someone to change her voice. Thanks! She started voice lessons this month, but decided to quit and wait another year, due to the fact that she hasn't gone through the voice change that girls go through. Her vocal coach requires students to be 13, but made an exception for Hailey. Hailey is in musical theater and a girls choir, so she is still getting some practice in.

She is involved in theater, having just completed the lead role in a youth production of "The Little Mermaid." In November, she will be playing Amaryllis in "The Music Man." She has been in a choir for 3 years, and recently started taking voice lessons. Hailey plays the piano beautifully, too, having played for 5 years now. She loves music and theater!
