I used to check every record store in NYC searching for these Bits & Pieces mixes. I would record them on cassette & listen to them all day & night. These are the best mixes ever. I found alot of them at Record Explosion in Manhattan.

Big respect for putting these on. I grew with very limited exposure to the true pioneers. Latin Rascals, Shep Pettibone, etc. I bought a shed load of kiss, ktu, bls radio mixes. im glad u guys like this. a friend of mine told me to look this up because its the 20 year anniversary of this mix. Anyway, im the guy who made it. What really sucks is that the label on this one is wrong, or a newer pressing, because in 89, I was (unfortunately) side B but it read "Another VinMix" which is what i still use today. Anyway there's a story behind this record, i wont bore you with it.

Thanks again for remembering it. I guess i have to put a 20'th anniversary mix together now!

In time I will, some of these mixes are more than 10 min long so I might need to edit a few and Im too exausted to get to it tonight but I'll work on '85 shortly,, you know I never did hear/own '91 - '95 which I believe completes the entire series and Im surprised nobody else has it!!
