We discovered an interesting bug at 70 that made this kill far easier than subsequent kills when it was fixed.
Since in the 40-man version Chains of Kel'Thuzad always targetted Kel'Thuzad's current tank you could spam spell reflect and it would be reflected, doing nothing or mind controlling 1-2 people (it was pretty buggy).
He cast his abilities far more often in the 40-man and frost blast ticked for 130% not 104% which made it a lot more intense than the current version.
This would be really hard for them if you think about it. You find me 1 level 80 PuG that can take down Kil'Jadaen and I'll be Impressed. Plus this was much worse than KJ.
I ran Sunwell in an 80 PUG and we got it 1st shot. Did the same for Naxx at level 70, only cleared about 30%-35% of it.
Bosses like Brutallis are pathetic (Like pre-BC Patchwerk @70), others like the Eredar twins are for the most part zergable. Only Kil'Jaeden remained a challenge (Mu'ru was insane at 70, but since most of the trouble came from adds, it made him easy at 80).

it would of looked stupid on blizzes part to have to identical things in the game that would be mirror images of themslefs, just different stats offcourse. You dont kill Kel'thuzad. when you destroy a lich they leave behind a crystal and with that crystal they can regenerate themselves. well you, unknowingly, gave that crystal to a Cult of the Damned agent. So Kel'thuzad regenerates
kel thuzad is not nearly as difficult in wotlk as before. blizzard only intended naxx to be the early entry raid. saphhiron the boss before him is the hardest in naxx imo. (in wotlk ofc)we managed to one shot him though after tons of practise at 10 man lvl prior.:)

Kel'Thuzad is going to be stronger in WotLK, as in more health, because he's scaled for lvl 80s. Coordination-wise he won't be harder than Illidan though. Naxx is meant to be an entry lvl raid. Even Blizz themselves said it won't be hard at all.

It should be noted that as of the latest patch Chains of Kel'Thuzad is no longer reflectable or resistable and the encounter is considerably harder than in this video. I've uploaded two more videos of the encounter working properly.
if your implyin that boss is easily your sadly mistaken. Only reason its easier is becasue your got at max 60item level differnce in gear and 7 levels snice all bosses was 63 like the current ones are 73. its still very easy to lose this
I think that all bosses (skull mobs) as far as levels are concerned for combat table (hit/miss/crush/spell hit) go are +3 levels from you. So even though they are lvl 60 raid bosses, they are still +3 compared to the raid.

Kel'Thuzad was the most badass boss in WoW imo (Old version, new one is nerfed and sucks and has a terrible new voice).
Granted, a lot of other cool ones existed, but Kel'Thuzad was still my favorite.

Chains of Kel"Thuzad no longer mind controls the main tank every time and doesn't wipe threat anymore.
Frostbolt is now resistable and doesn't one shot the tank.
Frostbolt Volley hits for 20% of the raid's max HP not 60%
Mana Detonation burns 25% current mana not 50% of max mana and explodes for less.
Guardians don't gain blood tap on switching targets anymore. He's way nerfed man.

True nitros haha, it was so cool back there when i did it for the first time, at 1% there only where 5 peepz up and we killed him, as you know got my T3 Frostfire ring from it aswell. I'm still curious to the music you use in this movie, because i really do like it

It should be noted that as of the latest patch Chains of Kel'Thuzad is no longer reflectable or resistable and the encounter is considerably harder than in this video. I've uploaded two more videos of the encounter working properly.

if your implyin that boss is easily your sadly mistaken. Only reason its easier is becasue your got at max 60item level differnce in gear and 7 levels snice all bosses was 63 like the current ones are 73. its still very easy to lose this

I think that all bosses (skull mobs) as far as levels are concerned for combat table (hit/miss/crush/spell hit) go are +3 levels from you. So even though they are lvl 60 raid bosses, they are still +3 compared to the raid.

We killed kel'thuzad yesterday with a big pug channel. It was great fight my first kill :D on Sapphire and kel itself, won the Frostfire Ring
