  • DAY TRIPPER!!!! i love this song!

  • And who are those wackjobs that say he is dead???????

  • This isn't really a Paul song. Even in his prime on the original recording he only sang the "Got a good reason" intro, John took the rest. The song is really more suited to John's voice than Paul's. Having said that, Paul still performed the "Got a good reason" part reasonably well at his age.

  • THIS IS AWESOMMMMMMMEEEEEE!!! I LOVE WATCHING HIS FINGERS! :)

  • At age 68, singing, jumping, running and playing for 3 hours long. No one can do that. I repeat:

NO ONE CAN DO THAT. Except for Paul.

  • I remember when I was 7 or 8, I watched the Back in the US DVD and saw the sgt pepper/ the end solos. From that point on I learnt how to play guitar.

Now look at me now 4 or 5 years later.

    Thanks paul =)

  • Because of this song, my brother had to have a guitar. When I went to a Beatlemania Show, I asked my brother (Paul), to help me buy a guitar. And what song did I want to learn first? This song has so many wonderful memories, and I just love the Day Tripper!

  • Legend............

  • Were people dumb back then. Because in 1965, in Shea Stadium, people fainted, committed suicide, and screamed like hell when they saw Paul. Now, people are calm. Why is that???

  • @sacramentolove

La respuesta es tan obvia, que mejor omitirla...

    Qué edad tenés, Sacramento?

  • @Pili670 Can someone please translate this?!

  • I was there!!!

  • @Trippple3 you're right, his voice is fine. folks don't remember he always had a little strain on the high notes, which is what made it sound cool.

  • really? One of John's songs? cool!

  • Happy Belated Birthday Paul! =)

  • Happy Birthday Paul.

  • paul is an illuminati thats clear look at the pyramid !!

  • @qqssaa

Good. I hope people like that are controlling the world.

  • I'm 16 and I ♥♥♥ sooooooo vry much!

  • at the age of 67 he puts on a 3 hour concert,.most young bands dont give you that kind of show,at 67 i wonder if i can still even walk.

  • He sounds great! Of course this is Paul McCartney, he'll ALWAYS sound great with any band at any age! =]

  • hes still great no matter what

  • BAAAAAAAT!

  • OH MY GOD!!!!, :D Paul sings exactly like when he was younger ! I love it :)

    I love his voice :)

  • @Trippple3

Anyway, he can still sing perfectly!

  • wow sounds almost identical

  • Fantastic! hearing again.

  • Oh, si!

  • eeeuhghugh

    its not the same

    not without the others :(

  • Two of them died, you may have heard.

  • i know that

it just doesnt sound the same

  • Great great song just like the one when you were with the beatles

  • he's still got it!

  • I love it! U ROCK!!!! Does that make me weird cause I like old music?

  • No, It makes you cool. You won't find great music like this today.

  • I was there! Best concert EVER!!!! Love you Paul! You still got your voice!

  • fantastic !!!!

  • It's great that McCartney's live DVD is finally fast pace, the previous four or five live DVDs have been so SLOW paced. It's embarrassing because The Beatles' A Hard Days Night is faster with more hand held camera angles than his DVDs over the past decade. Previous DVDs remind me of church or school play DVDs. LOL.

  • Im glad he still plays bass

  • PAUL!!!!!!!!!! you're the BEST!!!! I see you tomorrow in Arnhem GELDERDOME!

  • people should give Sir Macca a break,he is a national tresure, what a songwriter, mozart of our time, and that slapper he has been with,well,..it breaks my heart cos he has given joy to millions and he deserves better than her,..

  • Paul is still amazeing! i wish i could have been there.

  • He sounds great even now. Some people here that complain need to remember this is not a clone of the CD and live. Also the mix sounds slightly different. I'm not saying it's perfect. But then again, it's not a final CD. You have to remember they recorded this when he was 23, 44 years ago, and here is is TODAY still singing it and it's very very good. Be thankful that we have this! I think he beats some of the auto tuned crap that has come out to day by far! And new artists love him.

  • he's still awesome and doing what he loves!!! :)

  • Oh wow, this is so cool... He hasn't done it live for so long...

  • Aww that was great! (: He still has an amazing voice to me O:

  • ughhh now he's a big teaser. because he took me only :42 of this song. ;)

  • I wish I coulda gone!lol!

  • Deeeeiiii Tripeah

  • oooooooooo love him, i did a tour of the beatles the weekend fantastic to see pauls home

  • ahh sir paul, i love you!!!!!

  • god

  • What's going on in the background? Is someone playing this song on the biggest screen in the world on Beatles Rockband?

  • Lol I thought this was a Beatles Rockband video!

  • i wish i were there!

  • Just a little bit too short! please just a little longer and it'd be alright lol!

  • paul was born in 1942 i think, am I right?

  • I think Paul is amazing :)

  • He's 68, and I think it was great

  • 67.

  • oh, i was told he was 68. but i'll go for 67

  • No, he just turned 67 in June. It's not too slow. He is not singing "his" parts anymore, sadly, in most of the dual vocals with John. Ex, Two Of Us, he sings Johns lower part now, here on Day Tripper, etc....

  • Not bad? It was TOO good for his age. But you are probably just a troll anyway. First of all 70 doesn't mean you're all decrepit and slow. You're just saying what you expect him to be in your imagination. He's better than some of the younger, lip syncing pieces of shit that are out today. And it's not a CD you're hearing. It's a multi-piece harmony from a different mix point of view. Nearly perfect. So if there are any small flaws in it, it's pretty silly to sit there and judge them

  • I think I shall buy this for myself for a Crimble present...-wants-

  • greta channel!

  • yes! the hofner!

  • Paul---you look & sound as awesome as ever !!! Hope to see you soon--(me & Sam. ) Peace/Love Deb in Florida xx

  • It's actually not the original. The original Hofner bass that he used on Ed Sullivan and earlier got stolen many many many years ago, but I believe this is the original replacement so it's almost like the original in some ways since he's had it so long and probably longer than he had the original one.

  • Paul is almost 70 and he still sounds great. That kinda goes to show you how great of a musician he is.

  • I agree, ^^

I love his voice!!, is still awesome!

    wow.

    amazing..

  • Not only that, he has taken care of himself as well.

  • He is 67, don't age him too fast!

  • since its thanksgiving..i am thankful for paul mccartney:)

  • A little Flat

  • OMG O.O

His Voice Haven't Change Not Even A Little Bit !!!!!!!!!1

  • because its been enhanced on this dvd

  • @DaveDaysJr

I saw him live and he sounded this good....:/

  • grande Paul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • paul still has it. Him and John the two best singers in the universe.

  • The perfect chistmas gift

  • I can't wait...se you at Paris Paul...I'm coming!

    Great musician.

  • When is he in Paris?!!!

  • The 10th of december..at the Paris Bercy!

  • God bless paul mccartney and his family.

  • Great solo DVD !

  • Paul still sounds so good at his age. LIVING LEGEND!!!

  • Sounds awesome!
