@djgurl21 actually I have been told it feels like getting tape removed from a forearm or other hairy spot, which makes sense since the wax is acting as a bond on all the delicate hairs in the outer ear.

The other most common response I had heard was that once done, it felt like a great pressure was removed.

(I used to assist in my uncle's group practice and they had an ENT on staff at the clinic whom I would help from time to time when they had outpatient stuff.)
