the trip mine blew up cuz the other guy on the blue team threw a nade to get up to attic and that caused the mine to blow up when the rocket was near and when a nade deflects a rocket with the explosion it sends the rocket in a different direction and usually the rocket blows up a little while after

the trip mine has a large blast radius,so when the guy (supposedly) touched the trip mine, the blast repelled the rocket,resulting in him dying with suicide.
