using BB (charge2) - and hold A at the same time i release the BB - => after that i can release A (charge3) because i already hold it during the whole BB thing!
thats the only way i can release a charged3 A after a charged2 BB!
to hold A immediately after charged2 BB to get a charged3 A (connected with BB!) is impossible tho

I want to start using her, but it's going to take some time to get used to charging in between my attack methods, that's the only reason why i'm stuck right now.
I think Siegfried and Nightmare are worst, i hate those characters. Ivy is another totally broken but to use her properly the player need some impressive skill so i don' t hate her.

@SaibotPT SC is a very unbalanced game. I'm a smasher I play super smash brothers brawl (which is still an unbalanced game), so I didn't knew that there where SC tournaments I haven't seen any.
Super smash bros have a tendency to make great or uber characters crappy though out the series (Captain Falco was shit brawl and Link started go downhill from melee.)
@ElDrHouse2010 Brawl is a completely different type of game from this. I think some of the tournament rules could be changed to limit Meta Knight's brokeness like they did in Japan. MK also as few weakness that can be taken advantage of. In this game, there's really isn't anything rules that could be changed to lower Hilde's abilities. She's still have long range, great combos, be fast, and have high damaging attacks.
all combos are really awesum! but playing another human isnt so easy to execute moves. al the oppponents are standing still in this... but great moves still.

@XxraineysopopxX well the two tips i can give you are 1, you want to start charging immediately after letting go of the button and 2, you want to release the button as early as possible to make the next move come out in the combo. you can let go a bit early and it'll give you more time to start charging again
Okay, Question... How long EXACTLY do you have to charge the "30 second" UB's? because I've tried multiple times using a timer on 30 seconds and I can't seem to do it for some reason - I've recently begun playing as hilde and have a few good combos but I still need to work on my style A LOT generally people get around me by just walking around xD
@TheOroMachine I don't know the exact terminology, but if you come across someone wise enough to sidestep against Hilde use the full charge (holding square) then release when within range. It not only acts as a guard counter it catches sidesteppers nicely. Her shoulder barge is also nice for sidesteppers.

@RayD3 also i don't spam her charge moves, i'm a stun player, I will start with charge stuns followed by fierce hard to guard impact counters, then switch it up with regular stun, and counter followed by charge moves, if any character should get banned it should be maxi, cause almost everybody spams and button mashes with him, and that gets annoying.

So many ringout combos, what would be the point of playing if they get thrown out before hitting you. other then the ringout combos the only one that seemed interesting to me were those unblockables
@thoroughbred765 I favor SC due to it's use of weapons and styles performed with them, perhaps you have a harder time with SC if you started off with Tekken first. Also Tekken deals with close range combat.
I like hilde but in training i try to do the moves moonlit dance, dragon breath and sirens call. I only can do stage 1 and 3 moves of each. I just hate how you have to wait like 3 sec an then attack with it. I always fail against the training misturgi. Lol
i know that but in practice mode when i try to do that i do this move 1:06 - 1:08 but when i do thst my opponent will blocks it because he's from the ground.
@FirefollowedFear try 6A+K, 4B+K, C2A, C3A, and 8_7K. 7K is especially good for creating space between you and your opponent. stay away from B attacks if you're trying to hit an aggressive opponent.
@FirefollowedFear use the sword to move them back a little then spear to push back.. thats what they are for XD. From there just get a combo going. Remember, you can charge attack while blocking ( unless they changed that in the past few months)
@Zayn721 forward then back+B+Guard. It adds extra damage when your back is to the wall as shown the video, otherwise you are left at a big frame advantage and are able to do a mixup. You can't do the command throw while charging "A" attacks.
nintndon that move is one of her 30 second holds and since a match is only 60 seconds long its really hard too pull off but it is very powerfull and basically kills your oppenent in one hit its pretty funny too let sum one beat you 4 30 seconds and then erase there health bar in one move
Thanks so much, I now know how to do all of hildes combos on this video and made my very own combo, Its a 4 hit combo, dont do much damage but it all adds up in the end.
what i dont get is how he/she charges to stage 2 so fast. after releasing for example, Y, i immediately hold Y again and its not enough time to make it stage 2 to continue my combo. am i missing something?

I'm in the making of a Hilde. I just don't get the stage 1 and stage 2 stuff of the dragon breath stances and all that stuff. If someone could elaborate it'd be great :D.
mine is, R1= B and R2= A. R1 for B charge attacks and R2 for a charge attacks. my method is holding R1 and R2 from the very begining of the match, the only time i release R1 or R2 is when i see and opprt for it. this also lets u freely block and attack with any of the regular buttons. but beware, using A or B means that the R1 and R2 buttons gotta recharge all over again. as soon as u release any of the charges remember to press it again immediately
Practice lol, start a practice session on the virgin snow arena. No walls but quite a long arena. Just focus on the two buttons, horizontal and vertical attacks. Hold for a second or two, as soon as you release press and HOLD it again immediately to restart the charge.
Just keep doing this, the timing will come with practice. The only trap here is u will be constantly charging but playing against an opponent will teach u when its safe to charge, and when it isnt!

You know what, i'm still pretty new to SC4 and chose Hilde as main char straight away before knowing her tier ranking. Online, ive played approx 800 fights and NEVER fought another Hilde player, does no one use her or what. All i get are Sieg/Nighmare/Asta/Mitsu/Cervantes spam addicts. I think I managed like 9 ringouts in a row against a Sieg player lmao, I started getting messages like 'LEARN TO PLAy' ...oh dear :)
Its easy enough to do in combat, not many people know how to use Hilde so pretty much everyone you fight online doesn't know whats coming. Even when they do, its just a matter of waiting for an opening then 9 hits later its a ring out, booyah!
Why didn't you make a combat video than? It would have been much more interesting to watch you beating up real players than training partners that do not defend themselves. ^^
Okay, okay ... could you add an online combat video anyway - I would love to see how much of that combos you can use online because I can't imagine it works so well. ^^

@Zayn721 forward then back+B+Guard. It adds extra damage when your back is to the wall as shown the video, otherwise you are left at a big frame advantage and are able to do a mixup. You can't do the command throw while charging "A" attacks.

On the 360, you hold either X or Y (or even together) for 30 seconds to get unblockables.

nintndon that move is one of her 30 second holds and since a match is only 60 seconds long its really hard too pull off but it is very powerfull and basically kills your oppenent in one hit its pretty funny too let sum one beat you 4 30 seconds and then erase there health bar in one move

Thanks so much, I now know how to do all of hildes combos on this video and made my very own combo, Its a 4 hit combo, dont do much damage but it all adds up in the end.

what i dont get is how he/she charges to stage 2 so fast. after releasing for example, Y, i immediately hold Y again and its not enough time to make it stage 2 to continue my combo. am i missing something?

because you let go way before the move comes out before completing the previous move, then press the button to start charging immediately.

I'm in the making of a Hilde. I just don't get the stage 1 and stage 2 stuff of the dragon breath stances and all that stuff. If someone could elaborate it'd be great :D.

My Method: allocating shoulder buttons
mine is, R1= B and R2= A. R1 for B charge attacks and R2 for a charge attacks. my method is holding R1 and R2 from the very begining of the match, the only time i release R1 or R2 is when i see and opprt for it. this also lets u freely block and attack with any of the regular buttons. but beware, using A or B means that the R1 and R2 buttons gotta recharge all over again. as soon as u release any of the charges remember to press it again immediately

Practice lol, start a practice session on the virgin snow arena. No walls but quite a long arena. Just focus on the two buttons, horizontal and vertical attacks. Hold for a second or two, as soon as you release press and HOLD it again immediately to restart the charge.
Just keep doing this, the timing will come with practice. The only trap here is u will be constantly charging but playing against an opponent will teach u when its safe to charge, and when it isnt!

You know what, i'm still pretty new to SC4 and chose Hilde as main char straight away before knowing her tier ranking. Online, ive played approx 800 fights and NEVER fought another Hilde player, does no one use her or what. All i get are Sieg/Nighmare/Asta/Mitsu/Cervantes spam addicts. I think I managed like 9 ringouts in a row against a Sieg player lmao, I started getting messages like 'LEARN TO PLAy' ...oh dear :)

Its easy enough to do in combat, not many people know how to use Hilde so pretty much everyone you fight online doesn't know whats coming. Even when they do, its just a matter of waiting for an opening then 9 hits later its a ring out, booyah!

1 or 2 of these combos are broken with the new version and some of these take Counter hits.
Just to let every one know before they start to wonder why the can't get some moves to land.
