Thanks for taking the time to teach how to use KeePass. I was interested in this free program,but it looks like to much work to log into my accounts. I'm going to stick with roboform password product. They always charge for updates,but its one click and your in!
Hello! It is a horrible slow and frustrating tutorial about this great software...
You should use the "one button" sign in feature here too! You can assign keyboard shortcut to type any type of data in any kind of order into a window's active field. The record will be selected from the database depending on the target window's title.
So if You are on gmail's website, and the record's name is Gmail (or anything that contains the word Gmail) You just press CTRL-ALT-A (or what You defined for auto type in keepass) and Keepass just start to type in the requested data (usually "username", TAB "password") into the active filed in the active window (Gmail website).
In combination with Dropbox 's free version, Keepass is an unbeatable password manager software. I'm using it for years, and couldn't live without it. Ask me if there is any question about it. .. or just download and look after Yourself how deep the possibilities could be with these products.
