  • While a couple of items might be American, I suspect that the bulk of your findings are actually British. Is the dig site near the Arnhem bridge? The round disk quick release mechanisms, while presently used by the American Airborne , were only used by the British during WWII. In fact because the Americans used a much more complicated release device at that time, it caused many Paratroopers to drown during the Normandy drop!

  • Where exactly did these digs take place?

  • Fascinating video.

  • What a very interesting video fantastic sure envy you guys my grampa was in the 501st never met him nor did my dad

  • Wow. Not only did you manage to find some really awesome stuff lol you cleaned and got em working. Finding a parachute?? Soo cool!

  • Amazing stuff.

  • Hi,

It is possible to contact me at this address please : raphaeldurand33320@gmail.com

    Thank you soo much,

    Regards,

    M.DURAND

  • Nicely preserved, most be the best time to feel ever grateful for finding these pieces. Very well done on the clean up on the parts and made it workable once again. I had to subscribe to you, made my day. Great damn job!

  • Nice video guys!

If its not a secret how do you clean rusty metal things.

  • Damn! That boot looks like brand new after 70 years in ground, that leather is quality made by Corcoran :) I hope the soldier still lives. Good job.

  • That parachute is extremely cool

  • Nicely done Dutch guys. What were those blue cones for that you found?

  • @themainproblem Those are transport caps from a nose fuse of a 25 ponder shell.

  • Thanks for posting - very interesting.

All of my uncles were in Europe during WW2 - so I like seeing the relics!

  • goddamn very nice again from you guys!!

  • i have a question whats the things u ostly find when ur searching?

  • I like that you show the relic dug up and then a foto of where it was located on a paratrooper...that's super...:)

  • Schitterend!

  • Looks like a lot of fun. Would be cool to see the history of each piece as it was used/abandoned. Do you do a lot of hunting before you find the artifacts, or do you research the areas before hand to save on time?

  • Wow I would love to come on one of these digs, great video. And God bless the brave young men who used this equipment all those years ago
