I was given this Kriya by Yogi Bhajan to do for 2.5 hours every day. It is powerful to have the open palms but not necessary or practical for longer periods of doing the kriya. Interlocking the hands (men with right index over the left and women the reverse, with the thumbs overlapping) then pointing the index fingers to make a gun shape is the standard practice. It will allow longer practice and perhaps a deeper experience. Also it is recommended to make the chant Sat Nam 8times in 10 sec
Agree. Not a teacher or anything. I just remember my teacher saying one could adjust to accomodate and being comfortable is important. Like, you can wear gloves if you do the breathwalk in Alaska in the middle of January.
If you can't kneel it can be done lying on the back with the heels as close to the buttocks as possible, and the hands in the same position straight up. Sat Nam
this one is incredible - note that you don't have to speak SAT NAM.
In fact I found it more potent when you THINK sat nam you can also add a root lock while doing sat (squeeze your perineum)
after 3 minutes you will be buzzing like an atomic plant so I recommend you do corpse pose for at least double the time and then walk BARE FEET on the ground.

I think yes, as a Teacher, I think all the practices can be adapted, if it hurts to sit on the floor why damage your knees, yoga can be adaptable..
