I know the anon guy meant well, but I think his approach only made the potential cult victim side with the scientologists. Hard to hear what he was saying, but he didn't seem amused at trying to be told the truth about the scammers.

Ideally if the anon had said just enough to the guy to get him to not commit and listen to reason after his little gullibility test, it might've worked better.

It's not an easy thing, but you can't forcibly protect people from the cult. That's their kind of tactic.
