That's Bill Fagerbakke in the Sprite commercial, the vendor guy...he's Patrick Star on Spongebob!! Also, Mark Linn-Baker from Perfect Strangers is the deserted island guy who pours out the Pepsi....jeez, never know who you'll see in these great 80's ads!
Watching these commercials makes me wanna do coke! People thought they were all high tech in the 80's . . its lame! I liked the 90's when people started doing drugs again and didn't care about being preppy or high tech!
Were all the people mentally challenged back in the 80's? I was born in the 80's and now that 30 years has past since the start of that decade I now realize how retarded everyone was back then. Anyone else here born in the 80's think it was kind of cheesy. I am embarrassed; even the 90's sucked.
The Juicy Fruit commercial... they made a big deal about "pull it out... the taste is gonna move ya when you pop it in your mouth" So Wrigley changed the lyrics. Way to go "mothers of America" you ruined another perfectly good commercial.
In the first commercial, wasn't that a real song but with different words? I wanna say they said [instead of we're the new generation] we belong to the city? Or something? lol
That Jucy Fruit comm must've been on for years, cuz I remember it and I was born in '86! lol. And I live near Reading, Pa [mentioned in the Coca Cola Classic comm] Cans looked so sloppy then- bigger or wider or something.
Forgot all about that cool Juicy Fruit jingle. I wonder is the commercial competitiveness between soft drink companies a big fad like it was during the 1980s? Not too big on tv anymore...
I was 5 years old too...I was the age of the boy in the Sprite Commercial. Everything seemed so simple to me back then, There were no bills,no anxiety of having to be to a job.
Definitely Dauber. And I can't remember what movie that kid was in, but it's going to drive me nuts now. That was Cousin Larry from "Perfect Strangers" in the Coke commercial. And I still find myself singing that Juicy Fruit jingle.
so was there a difference between Coke and Coca Cola back then??

@pilotben1986 You're a Millennial, and a product of the 1990's, your opinion is worthless. hahaha. You're barely a sentient being.

@pilotben1986 The 90's sucked? Are you some faggot Justin Beiber fan? 90's music and culture is way better than the fucking garbage we have now.
