Hey davo171. Have you tried the Electro-Harmonix LBB-1? It's like $40 and all the way down is off so that would provide a more useful solo boost for you. It does color your tone when engaged adding a touch of low end but it's actually nice to thicken up single sting solos. I also had a good experience with the MXR Micro Amp. The LPB-1 is True Bypass. The MXR unit is not.
This is what i call a demo..Thanks mate..cheers.

When I engage the pedal with my power supply, it hums baldy through the amp. What power supply are you using? What mA is it? (Thanks)

Nice tone. With the booster (resonance switch 2) it sounds a lot like Bryan Adams' or Peter Buck/U2's guitarsound, which I like a lot. Well done!

hi
i got a quick question
is this pedal good for blues?
would you recommended for blues soloing?

It's boost. Simply a boost.. Pedals boost is not made for a particular style of music.
It is not like Overdrive pedal for crunch sound.

I liked mine but Its minimal db boost was still too much to be useful in solos etc. A 3db boost would have been much more useful to me.
