if johnny EVER goes berserk, your done. his attack with the Malice Blade(its what i call it) is REALLY high, enough to knock off almost TOO much HP.

It's a status effect unique to all the Shadow Hearts series, the characters have HP and MP as normal like any RPG but also have something called SP (Sanity Points).

Every turn a character loses a set amount of SP, harmonixer's (Characters that can use Fusion) lose SP at a faster rate when using fusion. When SP reaches 0 you enter "Berserk" status which makes it impossible to issue commands and they will just do random things every turn such as heal enemies, attack allies or pass out.

@svrgm BERSERK is a status effect that happens when a characters SP (Sanity Points) are reduced to 0. When this happens, the character goes BERSERK, and the following happens:

1. Char. can not be controlled.

2. Char. can't distinguish friend from foe, and attacks both.

3. Char. uses abilities at random.

To cure it, use an item that restores SP. Johnny has the least SP for some reason, and therefore, it's simply best to let him stay back and heal.

never let johnny go beserk. he hits VERY hard, and i just have him stay back and heal. but during the Proceyon Battle, this gets hard...

I had to look like 50 times in the whole game to make sure it wasn't Alice. >.> Or I thought maybe she was her twin sister or something, would have been a very big twist.

@YinYang19 Her resemblance to Lady was intended apparently. Same as with Killer's resemblance to Yuri. Their whole relationship was even meant to be reminiscent of the two.

I think this one just has a very creepy and intimidating factor in it, like always, whatever you're facing is gonna be out of this world... unearthly... demonic?

Oh my gosh Hilda was the best especially in that boss fight in that lab. She was a total badass in all her forms

Man i got stuck at the tank fight in toward the beginning of the game. Right after you meet that vampire chick (forget her name), my nephew and i kept on trying and never managed to beat it... i think our party's level was to low. This game is notorious for hard boss fights, but that makes it fun.

Hmmm interesting, first I've heard such a comment towards FTNW. I prefer SH1 and 2's gameplay myself however. Did FTNW twice and still couldn't get into the actual gameplay.

Yup, the Combo system upgrade (stock) and the graphics are much better, but the story is pretty bad.

One thing, though: Purgatory takes too long to access, and Ether Purge is way overpowered.
