I knew you were amazing but making somebody elses work your own is a gift. I do want to play the complete musical now but... you have not done the rest ...yet?
Good morning star-shine, the earth says hello. ... Gonna sing it for myself I guess. ;^)
@PuppyZwolle Funny you should say that. I had written a guitar part but could think of no lyrics to go with it. After wracking my brain for months, I was going to call the song "Casualities" and recorded the harmonies...but then I realized that the song was very close to "Air," and voila!
hi "whatever". you mention michael chabon. he is one of my all time favorite writers. i most enjoyed "the Yiddish policemen's union". nice posting here, be well, chuck.
I am proud to say that Michael Chabon was in the graduate Writing Program at UC Irvine when I was still an undergraduate there. Never knew the man, but still claim him as a UC brother.
this song reminds me of my high school friend-with-benefits, eric moos. we used to sit in the public library and listen to hair, sharing the headphones while we read shocking asian erotica. good times.
omg, found him on twitter, he's "soomcire" there. so creepy. i looked at his picture, shuddered for a moment and came back here. he looks just the same, but with shorter hair.
Thanks for the info, now I can begin stalking all your old boyfriends starting with "soomcire."
Thank YOU, by the way, for sending me your version of "Air" so many months ago. I found it again on my computer at work yesterday, and it inspired me!
Do you realize it's been nearly a year since we first started chatting and collaborating!

@IamNotTheMoon Not that is creative serendipity. And it works brilliantly.

you are a master of short and sweet. This is great on all levels.

I think I speak for everyone when I say that you, too, are short, sweet, and and great on all levels. Although you might be taller than I think.

Haha! Yes, I am definitely not short but I try to keep the videos that way. :)

Michel Chabon calls them "Cloud Factories" in "The Mysteries of Pittsburgh." So your lad is astute!
But I'll bet it reminds you of New Jersey!

Bad as in Michael Jackson's "Bad?" or bad as in BADen-BADen?
Sorry. I think your joke, although fiendishly cruel, was actually better!
I'm glad the song brought out your obsessive-compulsive side. Now I wish I'd sung the words in German.
