Yup, fraid so. Don't get me wrong, windows mobile is fantastic, but only usable with a stylus and after using spb mobile shell, the windows mobile 6 interface is look REALLY dated especially when compared to HTC and iPhone etc etc.

Unfortunately you MUST install it to your MAIN DEVICE memory but it only takes up 4Mb. Once installed I could uninstall at least 4 other apps (weather app, photo contacts app, kinectic scroll app, and a launcher app) those 4 apps cleared about 6Mb of DEVICE memory so the 4Mb is WELL worth it.
The music player is a free application called "S2P" which means Slide To Play, they make the software "S2U2" Slide To Unlock.Just google it. S2P v0.5 works best, v0.58 has smoother graphics but buggy
This is my first WinMo device. I have the Verizon i910 in the states. Is there anythin in particular I should do to insure that the installation of this shell goes smoothly. I read somewhere that you have to unchec the widges box on the Today options screeen and some other things. Just curious.
As far as the music player, you say its "buggy". Do you mean that there are audio problems with the software or are there glitches that shut down the program altogether? Thanks.
DISABLE SAMSUNG WIDGETS BEFORE INSTALLING SPB MOBILE SHELL. Samsung widgets don't like anything else. Must install Spc Mobile shell to the Device memory not your storage card.
S2P v0.58 has smoother animation and auto rotate screen to go sideways, but it makes it VERY hard to slide through your music, too much CPU time is used to make the smooth animation and makes the MP3 "stutter" when animating.
S2P v0.50 does not have auto rotate but runs a lot FASTER :)
