  • whats the song called that they end up singing together right after this scene because she gets nervous?

  • @scarlette2055 Well, you've probably found out the answer by now, (I'm 2 months late in my response :)) but the song is called Friends in Low Places originally by Garth Brooks. It's a really good song :)

  • in the beginning they hate each other but at the end they fall in love

  • well they first are like enemies.. he likes her but has a hard time telling her i guess.. but they end up falling in love.. BEST MOVIE EVER

  • I heard he also goes with Gwyneth's character! I really hope he ends up with Leighton's cuz they are amazing together!

  • God he looks good with that cowboy hat on...

  • nope, im pretty sure they're just competing rivals at first but then fall in love:)

  • I am so confused by the clips from this movie.

Here they look like they're enemies, but they're like really sweet in the other trailers.

    ? wuz hapnin?

  • @PingPlate I think in the movie their relationship is a work in progress....you know, they start off as enemies, then fall in love, etc.

  • @TheHplover12 I hope that happens...

cuz it could be like they start off as a couple but the music industry tears them apart?

I like your suggestion better though :P

  • @PingPlate The first bit of sweetness actually happens just a bit after this scene, when Chiles follows Beau in the honky tonk, and chokes, so he helps out by starting out on a song, friends in low places, so she can follow him in a duet and get started up, after which she gets over her nerves, after that is her helping out with some of his lyrics for the song give in to me, thus they are extremely sweet on each other, because they sing duet in give in to me, very sensual.

  • @PingPlate you have to see the movie to understand it ...

  • @PingPlate Well, Beau is kind of a prick; that aside, their intentions are different. Beau almost despises fame and all that comes with it, whereas Chiles is more accepting (and hopeful) of what fame can bring.

Beau also thinks that Chiles isn't a real musician. He doesn't have much respect for her until he sees her song-writing capabilities.

On top of that, I think Beau likes Chiles, but is trying to be a hard-ass about things. So he goes back and forth between being nice and mean.
