These hearing aids do have disadvantages as well. You cannot always use an open dome, hearing losses can be too severe, retention is generally not as good, they can be less cosmeticlly appealing than a different style and they are not always appropriate for certain people with maniipulation difficulties ec.
In the bottom left hand side of the video there is a button that looks like a square with the letters, "CC" on it. That is the closed caption button. If you click it, the words will appear white on black at the bottom of the video.
Yeah I'am familiar with the CROS. I was referring to these OBTE or RITC size models being adapted for SSD people. Have you seen any CROS aids made with these OBTE or RITC models like the ones in this video? Or are they too small to be used as CROS aids?
thts the kind i just got...one for each ear. I'm glad you made this vid...my booklet didnt say what that extra tube was for, I was about to cut it off. now that I put it in place correctly, it looks and feels much better.
My daughter who is 7 wears a hearing aid that has the custom mold . What is the benefits of this one over that. Do these work with standard fm units.

Unfortunately that was a poorly fit device. Sat high on the ear and the ear grip or retention grip was not seated appropriately in the ear. OBTE?
