Uhm. People. Don't go crazy paying 700$ for lights. Just check out the nightrider minewt series or the Lumintrek TrailBlazer TB-1000 which has 1000 lumens and only for 100$ with a included helmet mount. I'll make a review on these lights for u to see.
all lights and i stand corrected you can be sure come straight from china or that area where wages are low..then just branded with light and motion or lupine stickers etc...
the supernova which is german cost 1000euro for twin lights...is it worth it well i dunno....when the battery runs out in 2 to 3 yrs and you need a new one how much of that 1000euro will it take to buy one...
From what I have see online so far.. All these lights are way over priced.. All these light are made fairly cheap.. but some of these lights are not high in price cause to the light.. but for the b atteries that come with them
@Widowmaker7777 i agree with you,,,almost all bike light are very simply made and cheaply made but add the battery and the price is too high.for the money some cost you would expect light similar to a hid car headlight etc but thats not what you get..most light id say only cost about 50/100 euro then add the battery which cost 500/700 euro then your in to silly money for what really is only a 100 euro light.
You do get what you pay for. You can make a light yourself with off-the-shelf LEDs but it won't work nearly as well as one of these. Light & Motion engineers excellent lenses that make efficient use of the light, putting it where you need it. Hopefully pricing will come down soon however since $700 is a lot of coin.
