This 02' team was the closest the Kings have ever come to the championship I believe since they won it in 51' (they were called the Royals then). They were told to call game 6 in the Lakers favor so it would set up a game 7 because the ratings of the series were the highest ever for a non-finals series. Game 7 would go on to become the highest rated non-finals game in NBA history for a league that had been losing money since the lockout. That's why game 6 was fixed.
