Definately John. From the Double Fantasy/Milk & Honey sessions. I'm sure it was recorded on the same day as "Woman" - a song John called 'the Beatle song'. Same drummer, same strings arrangement. Listen to the drums on 'I'm Moving On' and then listen to this song and tell me it's not the same drummer. So now the question is....how did this little sample get out?

I don't think John would put so much effort into singing a song that isn't his, his voice seems far too restraint for it to be him. Well, I think, in my opinion, that John Lennon is singing here, cuz', No.1, Ana Gabriel has an acute voice, and as many of you know, Lennon's voice was so different, he had that way to sing, that kind of words articulation, etc., that we listened in this video, No.2, I agree that HE NEVER SANG WITH MIDI's, but, perhaps they took his voice from a recording that they found, and they mixed it according to this version of the song, so, I'm sure that John Lennon is singing here. 100%.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was, indeed, John's voice. Often the Beatles would sing bits from each other's songs in between takes in the studio, just for fun. The backing was probably added years later.
