Macs simply work. Always. My dad still has his 1989 Macintosh hidden in the wardrobe and when you switch it on it works just like it did all those years ago.

I went Mac it is much simpler, I have been using garage band as an affordable basic recording studio for my music, I run boot camp so I can still play any computer game and run any Windows software my Mac has never had an error it has never been infected with a virus and is twice as fast as my dad's PC which we got within the same week as my Mac, I find its a much better computer for almost everything I do and my screen is beautiful and I dont have a giant box sitting at my feet taking up space

I've been editing Film and Video on Mac and Pc for a while now....and it's obvious that MAC is far more reliable. I've never had ONE Mac crash. Windows on the other hand....CONSTANTLY. I sure hope Windows 7 will improve on their past mistakes....if not, i'm going 100% Mac.

I have to disagree. I have been editing for 10+ years... during that time, the Macs I have used have crashed just as often as the Windows machines. The most reliable machine I ever had was a Windows 2000 box.

(That being said, Macs are far more capable for editing.)

PC's are superior in some ways e.g. CAD, gaming, configuration and an overall balanced price to performance ratio.

Truth is that Macs are more user friendly so it's great for new computer owners. Not to mention Macs are less likely to get viruses because the current ones out there are designed for PCs. On the other hand, if you want something more customizable go for a PC. They also cost a lot less for the same amount of space you receive. Personally, I have a PC as a home desktop computer mainly because I know where all my information is going and a Mac as a laptop when all I want to do simple tasks.

That was pretty funny, but I think I'll stay on my PC.

I can write, listen to music, do art on Photoshop CS 3 and Corel Painter X with my tablet, make movies on Windows Movie Maker... for free, and have a wide selection of games when the creative juices dry up a little.

PC's are fine, but there's some micromanagement to be if you want them to get the most out of your rig. Macs are simple, easy to use, but lack the towering versatility that is a personal computer.
