@jizzyisme I've never dyed any of my dogs and I'm sure there are a lot of harmful dyes out there use on dogs but the majority of groomers use vegetable based dyes, so they are entirely safe.

0:32. That's what the panda dog really is. A poodle. Not a bichon. I know they look real similar and are from the same family. But I have a bichon, and I can tell straight away the panda dog is a white poodle with black dye. Ears are too long, and the tail is cropped. It's normal for poodle's to have cropped tails, but unnatural for a bichon. Such a cute dog though :]

I dyed my samoyed green with a spinach juice "bath" one St. Pat's day, and put a pair of clover antennae on his head. No one bothered me, he had a great time, and he was the life of the party (and knew it!). :D It's great to have fun together with your pets, but it's always more important to make sure you're not harming or distressing them. Besides, how you treat any living thing reflects what kind of person you are in general (weather you're abusive, mean, selfish, or just plain stupid).

The last I read cited recent chemical burn injuries to pets as being why authorities wanted to make an example of that one woman, who'd actually used veggie juice (but the cops didn't know at the time and her dog was taken away first). when you're talking about over the counter medicine or vitamins, it means you can buy it without a doctor's rx (like rolaids, robitussin, or aspirin)
