It has an "Aux Input" on the front of the unit that doesn't have faders or a designated volume control. It does have gain control, and you're supposed to use that and the master volume to control that input. This input is meant to be used to get another dj in set or play something on a cd. I haven't experimented with it much yet.
There are also RCA master outputs, and XLR master outputs. Additionally there is a RCA Booth output.
within Itch you can tell it to assign the aux to either xfader side, or to the master, so if u had a cd player plugged in for the scenario u described, u can tell it to assign it to the deck u rnt currently using, and fade to it like a regular track, however as u say, u do only have gain and 2 eq knobs, the rest will need to be done on the cd player.
similarly if you plugged in a mic, u can set it to master, and then talk over your mix when neccessary.
Good vid dude but gett better cam/sound and your vids will be even better!
