the vote part of the map reminds me of an even older map known as Vote40 which for the original Team Fortress mod for Quake 1. In it there spawned all four teams ( Green and Yellow were the 3rd and 4th team colors ) and each map had a door you hit till it opened, when someone entered the doorway it exited the map and loaded up the map that won. It opened when X ammount of damage was done to the door ( went up faster with more people hitting the door )...

I'd have to look it up but I wouldn't be surprised if the TFC map your refering too was probably based off of Vote40 for QuakeWorld TF ( heck, may even be the same person. I've seen a few of them port their maps over to TFC ).

@zonic14game The reason you're dropping out under the map is because you're not playing it on my server. I have watermark protection on the map so that if other servers try to steal it, it won't work and players will fall through the map instead. If you try to play the map in singleplayer, you'll get the same thing. If you want to play the map as it was intended, you'll need to connect to my San Jose server at 8.6.2.175:27015
