the town i live in has a new years day tradition all the new truck captains get in the respective trucks pull out on the apron the new chief give the order to light up the trucks and at 12 noon all the trucks drive up the street and turn around and the whole time the lights and sirens are going the cops dont care the fire department and cops have a great relationship after they back in everyone goes to the banquet hall on the second floor and eat and have a good time its really fun
