  • Federal law makes it legal for bicyclists to ride on the freeways when there are no other parallel rodes or options. Nice video. I'm going to have to do this sometimes on my upcoming tour.

  • its illeagle to do that in pennsylvania.

    for a reason.....

congrats on havin the balls to try it....

but i'd be happy with that and call it.

  • Where on earth is your camera mounted?! Sometimes it's up high, sometimes below your top tube. Long neck?

  • thanks for the rudeness sir, but it seems as if you yourself are not a biker. There are certain circumstances that permit bicyclists to enter the freeways/interstates. These circumstances are often when there are no other accessible routes for bicyclists to follow. For example, in california, we have certain freeways which are the only access point to another part of the city, and therefore bikes are permitted to use it

  • I don't give a shit if it is illegal or not. I ride the 205 and i 5 freeway in portland all the time. as far as danger goes, you can die any second. if your heart stops, its over.

  • It's prohibited in South Korea...but this has very little to do with you. Cheers.

  • Is it prohibited in Washington? It's legal on most of Colorado's interstates, outside of the cities.

  • Sometimes it's the only place to ride when you're traveling through an area. Takes some getting used to, for sure. :)
