In the 80's I learned that Chinese Coaches indicate who make the team in the finals, so it has happened that I can recall that if the final is between 2 Chinese, the coach determines who wins,so you will notice the change in performance

wow! that's amazing!! So you are saying that whenever youtube has a final between 2 chinese players, the performance is predetermined? That's so big. There are so many Ma Lin vs Wang Liqin finals, and Ma Long vs Wang Hao. Those are all rigged??

It would not be strange, that it is happening currently, but as a Swedish trainer comment in the 1985 US open Table tennis tournament: They have done it before, when I asked about the result rigging.

@jandroep3 yes some finals are rigged but not all they have a system that once a player has had there fair share of wins they have start dropping matches to let the younger ones come through because the chinese national team has like 200 members (most of them are training partners)

When Ma Long plays at his best he's just in another league! His understanding of the game is fantastic - it almost makes him look clairvoyant sometimes. A good ex at 2.39 - In a complex series of loops he's positioning himself before the opponent has hit the ball.
