  • the kid looks old

  • Is Danny retarded?

  • @thatnerdyrefrenceguy I'm so tickled that's LOL!!!!!!!!

  • @thatnerdyrefrenceguy I'm so tickled LOL!!!!!!!!

  • OH BOY!, man this kid sucks

  • good quality!

  • "Awwww, I don't like William!". Sheesh! I bet the guy that played the little brother Danny in this movie, who by now is probably pushing 60, probably cringes every time he sees himself in this movie. LOL

  • @bluecatky His name is Keith Almoney . I can't find anything about him online. Maybe the horrible part of playing Danny ruined his career...LOL.

  • Too much talking in this movie.

  • venetian blinds AND curtains? How about putting up a door on the window while you're at it.

  • I remember in Bio 101 our teacher had us write a paper on how "the blob" was technically impossible. Basically the membrane to cell ratio burst once it reaches a certain size. Otherwise your white blood cells would have taken over the world. Or something along those lines.

  • Now, Dave was a WWII vet. He could kick some ass, and it better well be the last time he takes her daughter out. And he's not telling lies.

  • boy, she looked good in that yellow dress. Thta old man should have kept her under lock and key. And I wouldn't believe Steve's old man.

  • PENIS :D:D:D

  • awww i wish my lil brother was that sweet

  • McQueen was offered 10% of the receipts for this, and he turned it down for higher pay up front. He wound up losing $ 397,000 on the deal.

  • I could almost bet that this is the kid of one of the producers or someone else up the chain. I mean come on, they didn't cast him for his skills obviously.

Super cool film btw, Steve is great in here, first time watch for me. ^ ^

  • amazing that kid is in his 60s now!

  • was he supposed to close the window and blinds back lol?

  • schti nørt a ferk nërm

  • Steve is 28, playing 17???

  • whats the dogs name

    any name you want

    can i name him william

that sounds like a fine name

i dont like william...... i lold

  • is it me or did 6:15 Star Steve McQueen's fist Great Escape lol "The window King" instead of "the Cooler King"

  • the boy is the cutest boy Ive ever seen in a horror movie!

  • i used to think actors cast for friday 13th were bad because of the year it was shot, but then i look at this film and the acting is brilliant.

  • @myarseisround back then it wasn't just about the gore effects. It was about fear and getting the audience scared. To do this, you need good actors.

  • lol classic film (Y), makes me laugh everytime when steve's dad says "hello son" he sounds like he's never met him before :P

  • i can see,Helen in her at times

  • Danny is SOOO cute! :D

  • I wonder what the age gap is between the two? These fims always have sibling with huge age gaps.

  • I understand what DarkAnimeWindSlayer is saying. BUT I feel Jane could've spoke up more. I'm sure she remembered picking the old man up and taking him to the doctors office just before Dave caught them driving backwards...I would've atleast said that much even if I couldn't remember detail by detail afterwards. And said it got bigger on his arm, yet I DID NOT see it kill the doc.

  • Everyone here need to learn psychology to understand how much stress they have and the failure to say or remeber things accurately. This happen to every human beings so don't talk like you're the smart ass here.

  • the whole forest scene reminds me a bit of Thriller LOL

  • Jane you ignorant slut

  • 30 something teenagers.... looks like Grease...

  • That shows only how much we changed in the last 50 years.

  • wait, they're supposed to be in high school???? they're like 30!!!

  • Jane said she didn't see the thing. But she DID see it on the old man's hand!

I really like Lt Dave. He's nice and kind. Burt is mean.

I think that kid who plays Jane's brother is so awful because he's about 7 years old and he's acting like a three-year old. They should have just let him act his age!

  • "you're not the kind of person who can turn your back on something you know is true"

  • I prefer General Hayes in a negligee

  • They got some real white bread names

  • Jane could've given up a bit more information instead of just saying "not exactly" and explain what she did see on the guy's arm atleast.

  • the kid of today, sis where the @#%% do you think your going? look if you be quiet about this ill get you a dog, "i dont want an %$#$%^ dog i want an xbox!!!" how people have changed

  • Night becomes morning.

  • Those crazy mixed up Grandads what is the World coming to,they didn't behave like that

during Robert E Lee's time.Steve Mc Queen 17 years old in this?? Oh come on!!!.He

must have been 30/35 if he is a Day.

  • @flanneryged

He's in his late 20's. What about the sh*tty teen movies today? You know they're old enough AND there also the hint of TERRIBLE acting. Steve McQueen, on the other hand, is an excellent actor.

  • oh boy honest!

  • at 09:38 a mysterious puff of smoke arises behind Steve McQueen's back. I wonder if he was smoking a cigarette during the take?

  • That was a cigarette. I watched the director's comments on the DVD and he said that when he was told several times to put it out, he was stubborn and refused. The director finally gave up and they shot the next take with the cigarette hidden behind his back.

  • @cheval572 : Hey! That's just RUDE! Leave Steve McQueen alone!

  • Steve McQueen was a great actor and should not be judged by just one of his first movies. He was great in Nevada Smith and the Sand Pebbles.

Steve McQueen was also part of the Honor Guard of Marines that protected President Harry Trumen.

    God Bless Steve McQueen

  • I was fooling around! Did you see "Bullitt"?

  • @buzzclick500 : Hey! Thats just RUDE! Leave Cheval52 alone!...................... and stop posting these frigin gay posts you trying to joke frigin wanabe

  • @trannynan : You need to read all my posts, or just grow up, one or the other. When I was your age, I was twice as smart as you, and I was dumb as dirt.

  • @trannynan Don't you mean wanNa be, forgot a n there.

  • I'll GAWD YOU!!!

  • What is up with that kid's voice? I don't know any toddlers that slur like that, even at his age.

  • the blob is just chuck norris's shit

  • Good one.

  • You'll all be DEAD in the morning!

    ...after you've called Johnsonville.

  • The birth of cool...Steve McQueen!

  • This film must have one of the worst scripts ever, fascinating to watch how bad it is

  • yeah cuz i bet you could do better? are you a director? oh thats right you aren't. and if you say you are i look forward to seeing your movie when it comes out.

  • Since when only film directors can express their opinions on films? (Besides, I criticized the script, not the direction) And why is there a space to leave one's comments then? Yours is an unbreakable logic, counter-argument proof; what a brilliant mind! I salute you Sir: the world needs more great thinkers like yourself

  • sorry i was being kind of a dick and your right not only directors can express there opinions on movies but what can i say though this movie does have some bad writing, i still think it's a classic

  • 1965, this film showed in England-inspiration for Paul McCartney, 8:44 check it out

also see "The Beetles" in The Wild One.

  • 4:19-5:28 THEE WORST CHILD ACTOR IN THE HISTORY OF THE CINEMA!

If there were awards for bad acting this kid would sweep the ceremony!

  • @SenorZorrozzz HAHAHAHAHAH! I know what you mean. He was probably just the child of one of the film crew.

  • 1:45, Helen Crump's closeup!

  • Steve looks like he's pushing 30 and he has to sneak out of his parent's house? And why is he able to hear every word they're saying? Are those walls made out of toilet paper?

  • actually your not far off.. i think he was 28 when he made this movie..

  • Compassionate cops. There's a thing of the past.

  • Word.

  • Lil kid was trying too hard to sound adorable. Didn't work out,lol

  • That kid sucked at acting I was laughing every time he said his lines.

  • @Darkspine345

Isn't it possible they asked the kid to act all innocent? Yeah that CHILD sucks! You sure told that child of 1958 his acting wasn't up to your standards.

  • @ninjawraith17 Yeah, I sure told him!

  • Thanks for your support Bitch!

  • I can't help but think there is somethign wrong with that kid...or he just has no talent whatsoever. where and why did they find him?

  • Go figure. Most actors (also kid actors) in movies or series are personal friends and relatives of someone involved in the industry. Idol was the worst as it was supposed to be 'democratic' but wasn't. Total waste of airtime.

  • steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve.

    catchy name...

    ;)

  • year 1960

The Blob has consumed every living organism on the planet

    it stops

    and thinks to itself..

    "Shit.."

  • ROFLMMFAO!!! I can't stop laughing thinking about THIS scenario! LMMFAO!!! XD

  • @rob666666 LOL

  • @rob666666 I think after that he would just start eating buildings, and earth.

  • @rob666666

    LOL. I know right?

  • You can tell someone whispered the kid's lines into his ear by the way he talks!

  • Should she be wearing a full shirt with a crimoline slip to fight monsters???

  • That little kid Danny.... Is something wrong with him? Some kids shouldn't be on film.

  • Worst child actor ever!

  • I agree.

  • Well Said

  • Oh boy!

  • "dr isn't away he was killed by a monster bla bla bla"..... but when i say that line i better not movie anyother muscle in my face.... (i thought this film was before botox :S)

  • "So far, I'm seeing way too much interpersonal 'drama', and way too little of the monster."

This was made when people still had attention spans.

  • i think steve mcqueen is sexy!

  • Oh, I totally agree. But he hardly looks like he's in high school.

  • he was 28 filming. what age is he supposed to be in this?

  • 17 from the sounds of it. *laughs*

  • most of the 1st 90210 cast were in there 20's too.

  • do they were scared?

  • Attention people of Earth, Attention people of Earth, we will attack when the sun is in Pergalium!

  • wow that kids the worst actor ever haha XD clearly the producers son or something

  • I love putting puzzles together in the morning.

  • if he can hear his parents that clearly through the wall he must hear everything when there goin at it all night long

  • "Did you see this thing too Jane?" "Well no,not exactly." Yes Jane saw it! She was right there looking when the doc uncovered the old man's arm! She's a lot of help.

  • Yeah, throw ol' Steve under the bus, honey.

  • you're right--she saw it at the beginning

  • Danny, STFU and get your whiny ass back to bed before I feed you to the monster!

  • LOL I alwaysa hated that little kid.

  • does that little kid die?

    havent seen it yet?

  • Heheh, no, unfortunately. He stands there like a tool firing a toy pistol at the blob, too, perfect oppurtunity to make blob-chow out of him.

  • which part i wanna watch it lol

  • Not quite 2 minutes in on part 8, right after the blob oozes out of the theater, and is big enough to cover a small building.

  • They should make a sequel where the monster gets out of the arctic and then comes back to hunt that little twerp down.

  • In the 1988 remake, there's a little brother character (older, and not apparently mentally retarded!), who also survives, but his annoying FRIEND dies, at least.

  • 1:21

    Greatest movie line EVAR!!

  • I think my grandpa had a role in this movie.. well that is what he said..

  • thats really cool!
