Yea in positions like flanker and center, where making your tackles is SO crucial, tackling legs is the best way. If you tackle legs its almost guaranteed that he will go down. In these kinds of positions, no one cares about how big the hit is, its about taking your man out of the game and consistently without doubt, so your players can rely on you to make the tackles without hesitation.
