Seems like an installation error with me. If not then it may not be compatible with the version of your OS (32 or 64-bit).

DUDE!!!! thanks HEAPS for sharing this. my mother-in-law is staying with us until her A/C gets fixed and last week all she wanted to do was buy these f'ing dollhouse pieces and put it on our paypal promising to pay us back (she wont she's broke) my wife is allowing this. this works even on my foxfire browser. i had to block every ebay link...took about 15 mins i cant wait to see the look on her face when she cant get on ebay. id kiss u man if u was here! u saved me a bundle o' money!

No you will not need to. Here is a little shortcut to getting around it:

Find Notepad in your Start Menu. Right click and select Run as Administrator. In the popup click Continue. Now go to File open. Next to the filename box type make sure to select All Files instead of Text Documents (*txt). Now locate file and double click on it. Edit the file and you should be able to save it.

Vista has a big problem with user permissions. If you can't save something always right click on the file or program and click run as administrator.

Thanks for replying, but what file do I open? Is it the system32 one?

2. Open the "WINDOWS" folder.

3. Locate the "system32" folder and open it.

4. Open "drivers" folder.

5. Finally open the "etc" folder.

6. Double click the "host" file and open it with notepad.

This error will keep coming if you are using Vista. Try logging in using the hidden admin account.

Yes it will work, but I can only guarantee this for Internet Explorer. I use Firefox a lot and this method does not really work for it.
