  • Okay this what I know about this music and era. I began my Djing career in San Jose. I worked in Downtown San Jose when Upstairs Records opened. Three Guys named John Martinez, Bobby and Noel opened on Santa Clara Street. This was there first production. If want more info let me know.

  • I went to upstairs during that time and of course bought two, used to live with some guy that was a mobile dj ...went to upstairs every week as had all the vinyl!!

    ok to write back,small world..

  • Still have my wheels of steel and all the Vinyl. I was in a couple of DJ Pools. One in SF and the other in SJ. Don't DJ anymore but miss it like crazy. I went every week too, That is how I came to know the guys.

  • I actually moved and did not take anything,I regret that since i was the one who used to go in and pick the music..also star records in san jose and another place across the street....cruised king and story also..
