  • @lederping Meeting him after the show require me to pay another 100$, but good that there wasn't much ppl did it, so I got more time to talk to him. But getting to sit close to him was totally unexpected XD

  • holy fuck! HE CALLED YOUR PERFORMANCE "PERFECT!"

omg. i would have shit my pants. uematsu is definitely a master. and i would happily like to promote him as ruler of this earth.

  • Seeing Nobou Uematsu wearing a casual outfit surprised me xD I always thought that he was always wearing a formal dress everywhere he goes lol.. anyway you are so LUCKY!

  • @yumilovesyou Yea, lucky in a sense that I bought the sit that was literary 2 blocks from his chair! I look back a few time to see him sitting there watching the show feel so unreal for a bit.

  • @narcissistmasochist ha I was kind of thinking the same thing...not in such a mean tone but...making the poor guy watch the whole video lol but if it was good then perhaps he didn't mind watching it

  • I hope to get the same chance as you did, in London 2011! VIP!

  • @Melchior742 I know~ hehe, I should have ask him to say "You are now watching kenenth84's performance", or "welcome to kenenth84's channel" . And edit that into my clips :-) THAT would be nice. Too bad, I was blank out and do not know what to ask in front of the legend.

  • Ahh you are so lucky! Im going to distant worlds in a week...didnt get the meet and greet tickets in time tho...prolly a good thing since i would probably cry like a fan girl! :S

  • @Kaname441 haha, I can imagine an anime character petting his chin and rubbing his face

  • @kenenth84 I'm going Distant Worlds this April! And the meet and greet as well! Would he take a photo with me and autograph a bunch of shit for me ? D:

  • I would have wet myself if i got to meet Mr. Uematsu

  • Wow, thats pretty amazing. I've been to Distant Worlds twice, but never like that. You actually got to meet Uematsu-san. The second time I went, he was there, and even performed the Advent Children version of One-Winged Angel, but unfortunately, I didn't meet him personally. I was excited enough simply being in the same building as him. But congrats again dude.

  • yea, it was a total blast! especially I sence this aura back of my neck brings a chill down to my spine! (he is there! he is right behind me!) Overall, I think it was a good show. :-D

  • @kenenth84 yeah,i can imagine the feeling. its like, omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg omg!! lol

  • You were lucky ;) He even spent time "studying" your preformance! You definitely deserved it! Uematsu Nobuo is great motivation! He's even self taught, and that really motivates me alot when I don't have a teacher.

  • And look, the time he takes to see your video, he pays attention to his fans, I love this behavior.

  • omg, lucky you :o

  • You lucky bastard!

  • Oh my. I can't believe you got to sit so close to him and actually meet him!!! Well, you definitely deserve it, no doubt about it. And he even said your performance was PERFECT! Wow. I hope he does watch your performances on youtube. Congrats! :D

  • *Faints*

all the final fantasy music is in my head now!

Nobuo is definantely of the Bard job class!! X)

  • You are very lucky. Wow, that "Perfect" comment. Congratulations. You deserve it.

  • Ohh, Nobuo Uematsu is what motivated me the first place on learning how to play piano. After being able to meet him up front, I was even more motivated to play piano! ^^ I really hope he is checking on my channel like he promise :-)

  • Money well spent, young padawan.

  • LOL I was right behind you! you are an amazing piano player! I got to hear it from your device! ^_^ I play trombone music from FF lol

  • 1:38 is that how he reads?

  • Ah! You're so lucky! (T-T) It's one of my dreams to meet him as well. I'm happy for you though! (^-^) I hope you achieve all your dreams ~ you have the talent to! I'll subscribe to help support (^.^)/

  • I know! This is like once in a live time event, who knows if I am able to meet him anymore in the future? I'm glad I spend 100$ to meet him up front during the after party. The seating however, I never expect him sitting that close to me! XD Was totally random luck ^^

  • lol! I probably would have DIED. x-p hahaha! You deserved it though so I'm very happy for you! I really hope your piano skills are noticed and you're able to maybe even work with him! (^0^)/ I think you're truly amazing and it appears Uematsu san thought so too! (n_n)

  • Man that made me happy to get to see you meeting him! I felt excited for you. Getting to show your music to Mr. Uematsu must have been very scary at first but after he complimented you I bet it felt like the weight of the whole world lifted from your shoulders! :)

  • Yea, weight of the whole world lifted, but cat still got my tongue (speechless). ^.^ Only IF I can get to know him more and be his friend, I will feel a lot more comfortable to share what I have in mind. ;-) Plus, that will just be insanely awesome!

  • I really wonder if he really view at my clips at all :( but anyways, this will be a motivation of me to do my best on every piano piece I play knowing that he MIGHT look at them.

  • OMG, you're so luckkyyyyyyy

  • hehe, its a 500% boost on piano motivation! XD one of my child time dream! Was lucky to choose that sit out of many option.. got it so close to where he sat!

  • wow I'd be super nervous if I showed Uematsu-san my playing of To Zanarkand, even if it's on video!

    gosh you very lucky~!

  • Wow, you're lucky! I was debating to go to the after-party or not, and i chose not to. Now I wish I did. T_T But thanks for making this great video!

  • WOWW

    you are sooo lucky!

  • You lucky SOB. Id give my left nut (not my right one, its too valuable) to get to talk with "Master Uematsu"

  • Yeah it was amazing. At the after party, I asked him what's his fav. thing to play he said "piano!". He's so chill and cool.

  • Wow, congrats! That must be such a confidence booster, haha. You deserve it.

  • OMG MAN!!! I WISH I had gotten the 100$ for the after party! I wanted to so Bad.

    I am Forever Jealous.

I really wanted to ask him some questions about music composition

  • I was at the Saturday one. It was packed with people to see the show and the meet and great. maybe between 150 to 200 people in the meet and greet.

  • Craziness!!! Can't wait for FF14 music to come out!

  • they actually watched your whole video? how long did you get to have to talk with them? thats pretty crazy. I thought it wuld be super brief confrontation with them due to how many people there

  • hmm, there were about forty people in the after party and it lasted two hours! We get to talk with Uematsu-san and Conductor Roth for more than 20mins some leave early some stayed. At first, they only allowing two items for autograph. At the end session, they sign almost anything you tell them to sign on. It was pretty great deal for 100$

  • oh wow. cause i was watching older concerts from somewhere, and the line was freakin LONNNG just to get autographs! so i figured it was a huge waste of money.. and u get no time to even talk to them. but thats pretty awesome, only 40 people

  • Amazing!!!

Not only did you meet THE MAN (and Arnie Roth), you got to show him your music!!!

d (^_^) b Good choice to show him your To Zanarkand piece! And you got complimented?! Your skill deserve it! Nice work!
