Although the music was unique and good for broadway, i thought the story itself was pretty contrived. I'm not hating or nothing, but the story didn't do much for me. I don't feel the conflict was strong enough to create a memorable story. it was as if he was more concerned with the music rather than the story. Now, Passing Strange was the shit.

corbin bleu doesn't really pass as a hispanic kid living in the ghetto in my mind, so i'm not sure that would work.also lin manuel miranda just made it perfect,so i don't see how you could really get it better than the guy who wrote the script.but i could be wrong. (but i think i'm right)

Lin-Manuel Miranda was THE BEST. Corbin DOES NOT belong in that musical. AT ALL. He needs to go back to "High School Musical." No one can do what Lin can. I saw it. He makes an okay Usnavi. Lin composed it. Lin will be Usnavi forever. Props to Lin and all of the original cast!!!! :D

Ok so I went to this play last week, and Corbin Bleu was sort of.... average. His acting and singing was good, but being from High School Musical I was expecting more dancing. There was lots of great dancing, but none of it involved Corbin. The play itself is good, it just takes a while to get into it. Worth the money.

@Deuszada Just came back from the musical. No lies, he's incredible. He doesn't look like he does in Highschool Musical. His voice is strong. Disney songs do not tdo justice to his talent.

Instead of being fun like Miranda, whom just to say, is of course my favorite Usnavi, he instead made the character more of a tense, uptight store manager, like he was always stressed or something. Its hard to explain but it was great.
