Let us be realistic: it is not easy for us human beings to follow all that our religion teaches us but that doesn't mean that we should not strive to become better persons. Just do the little things like being more helpful and kind to others in as many ways as we are able and the rest will follow by itself. God bless you
When I lived in Italy I had the privilage of making a pilgramige to San Giovanni Rotondo. What really made me understand the power of this Saint was the thousands of letters he received and they are all there preserved for all to see. If you can look past the commercialism of the place you can feel Padre Pio's Presence everywhere.
@ErickLazcon4 As explained by the doctors who were permitted to examine his stigmata, the surrounds of the wounds would form scabs but the wounds themselves would not heal or get infected. The wounds went all the way through from one side to the other on the hands and the feet and was clearly open on the side wound.
@ReapersShredder His wounds didn't smell like blood. He had an unearthly floral scent that followed him everywhere. Actually I'm pretty such you can still smell it if you visit his glass coffin.
Historically in cases of miraculous blood that is tested from strange sources, such as the Eucharist, the Blood type is always AB. The Blood never clots or decays. We can only assume that it is the actual blood of Christ Himself. Perhaps true stigmatics also bleed the incorruptible blood of Christ?
The Mass depicted should have been a little more accurate. This is hardly some parts of the Mass in disorder. After the Canon that is clear, and it's ok, but no Mass starts with the Pater Noster...
The only problem I see about this film is: why do they show that stigmata disappear from Padre Pio's hands if, in fact, it disappeared just after his death?
did you write this comment at every part of this movie? I am sure writing it once would be quite enough. By the way, did Padre Pio really not have the stigmata till the end of his life?
ok, at this moment i am all crying. this is an amazing movie about an amazing life of an amazing soul. thank you so much. how is it that the Lord loves us so much. how is it? for all that we are..
May the Lord bless you for putting this video of a good and holy priest. In 1979, my wife saw him praying for me at the foot of my bed. She woke me up and described a man in monks clothing with a white beard. I could not see him .. but she describe him. It was months later when we saw a photo of Padre Pio; she told me that he was the priest that was praying at the foot of my bed. You have brought back many memoirs of love and suffering.

Padre Pio begged for and recieved a dispensation, to not be forced to perform the Novus Ordo Mass. The Mass depicted in part 11 is pure Novus Ordo.

when making moving, the directors always change the story from the real one.
