Ritchie Blackmore was doing this way back in the early 70's and Yngwie just ripped him off again. He seems to be "ALL THINGS RITCHIE" -- his stage clothes, stage antics/stances, style/technique (just speeded up), attitude and even took on some of his left-over singers... lol. But even with all this said, I love a lot of his compositions.

He is gradually increasing the value by stacking and clanking them around. Putting scraps, nicks, dents, and dings make it more valuable. At least what I have found when stores sell vintage guitars. I cringed too. I only own three guitars. A Mexican Strat, a PRS SE Torrero and an Ibanez JS1000. I treat them all better than I treat myself. They're either on a stand, in a case, or around my neck. They are always cleaned, polished and the fretboards oiled. To see guitars stacked like kindling and just tossed about is crazy. But, I guess when your rich and famous and are given gifts, you really don't care. (Sigh...)

Okay pardon the fuck outta me it's a 54 Strat... I was correct on the price... There is a 100% original 54 Hard Tail on ebay for the "buy it now" price of $38,540 and a "all original" 55 buy it now for $23,500. Yngwie's may go for a little more because it belongs to Yngwie and one of the first 10. If your willing to pay $100K for q 54 then man have I got a deal for you. I cringed too. I only own three guitars. A Mexican Strat, a PRS SE Torrero and an Ibanez JS1000. I treat them all better than I treat myself. They're either on a stand, in a case, or around my neck. They are always cleaned, polished and the fretboards oiled. To see guitars stacked like kindling and just tossed about is crazy. But, I guess when your rich and famous and are given gifts, you really don't care. (Sigh...)

man everyone talking about stands is a retard. putting a guitar on a floor stand increases the likely hood of it breaking by 225%. piling them up on the floor like that is actually better for them than a stand. Secondarily, he probably keeps them all in cases in another room but they asked him to get his collection out for the video.
