Cool interview. He liked Hendrix & Cream. I admire Stewart's drumming. A good drummer puts his own character into the kit and like they say there are no two guitars players alike. Same goes for drums on a professional level. Some drummers we know it's them just by their character that they put into the kit. I like all the great drummer.

Stewart Copeland is who inspired me to become a drummer. the Regatta De Blanc CD should be owned by any drum enthusiast. Copeland IMO is one of the best if not the best rock drummers and technically is more of a jazz drummer. He has the cleanest, most solid snare stroke I've ever heard. His speed is incredible, and his rhythmic sophistication is out of this world. He can do virtually drum for any style of music out there.

Love the way Stewart plays drums. He was an influence on me as were many others. Stewart seems to become part of the kit. He puts character into every hot every beat and he is not only experienced in many ways but he has great chops and has fused a wonderful style together. Wayne

In all the Police's history there has never been a cover band in Australia. Seen pro bands on occasion do Sting tracks,but never ever THE POLICE. Could it be because of Copeland?This band sounds ok because of the skins . Any cover bands ever been?
