@500lbkoolaidman low compression V8s get decent gas mileage. Displacement truly has very little to do with gas mileage. My 2.5L I6 BMW gets 21.5, but it's higher compression. Plus I drive it hard.

The is not over 6000 LBS. A 75 Fleetwood does not even weigh that much! lol. Its 4100 LBS tops, I had a 06 DTS that was about 4100 and its bigger then your old car.

I just bought an 02 caddy seville,$6000 w/ 37k, I am getting it on the road today and I can not wait. These cars are super sexy and have great pick up. I originally was looking for a truck but now know that this car was a much better buy. The only negative is that the back seat does not do the 40 60 fold down, so carrying my snowbord and skis will be a chalenge, but in this car \i am up for it.

its a fair price, but fixing this car is a bitch, I got riod of mine, everythgin you do tio it costs trwice if not 3 tiems as much as any iother care I ever had, I now drive a honda accord...I eman even the battery was $300 and goes under the back seat, its just complicated, beautiful car just be sure if you buy one you ahve mo0ney in the bank to fix it...

Nice!... But I think your a little wrong about the weight... but I don't want to be dick... so I'll look it up on eBay... (3 min later) the GWVR is 4936 lbs (still almost 200lbs more than my early 90's Benz!!!). GWVR is max ''safe'' weight. My dad's deville was giving around 2 mpg more than it should, but high 20's mpg is great for a V8!

Same happened to my car. Over a long period of time my heavy keys and accessory on it wore out my ignition lock thing. I now have 2 keys for my car, one for the door locks and one for the ignition. The funny thing about my new ignition key is it will actually open up my friends car!!! I didn't have that planed out or anything.

just a heads up, cops radar guns can detect the signals put out by your radar detector.. I would be careful. You can get a nasty fine. New radar detectors are safe but the old versions can be detected by the 5-0.

You are. From the '70s all the way through to the early 00s, they were poorly engineered, sloppily built, overpriced rust buckets. I've never been a fan of Caddy's until they started the newer, post-Evoq models. While the quality of materials and assembly are still not up to Lexus/Mercedes Benz standards Cadillac did a good job copying some of their superb interior design elements and are quite luxurious.
