It is nice indeed that they brought it back in an updated version. The original, as nice as it is, is also bittersweet since it was meant to resemble the Twin Towers.

the reason the desk was plain because the logos were changing from the"circle 11" to the WB11 (NOW THE C.W.11)

That desk was so plain...they could've put a gold "Circle Eleven" on there with a few black & red stripes or something.

This was the year the WB (now CW) launched. That clip of the ending to channel 11 News at Ten was from 1995. That was prior to the WB coming in. They still used the "Circle 11" until the station's logo bit the dust.
