Here it is 48 years later, and Eugene Pitt and the Jive Five is still performing. They deserve a separate room in the Doo-Wop Hall of Fame. Eugene Pitt is one of the best ever. Nothing better than this in the realm of DOO-WOP, or any other music music for that matter. No offfense to Pooky Hudson, Tony Williams, Harvey Fuqua, etc.

I met Gene some years ago when Vito Balsamo started his own group called Vito and the AllStars...Jimmy Merchant from the teenagers also was in the group as well as Ron Silva...They sang great!But i must say Gene Pitt is the best and such a great guy, i wish i could get ahold of him....Audrey
