I got my service star 14 in the tank today. Way overpowered in this game i know and very easy to dominate in the tank but i love them in this game.

@SuperSonic285 nice, congrats. well they are strong, but so many ppl get boners for taking out tanks so its kinda balanced. sooo many engineers with mines & rockets. a huge increase in the number of C4 bombers as well. it really only takes like 2 guys working together to take out a tank in close quarters, but at range they can be a hassle no doubt.

@KuzuRanger yes i hate when uys try to c4 you lol. what i did i learnt what the enemy looks like when they use certain classes. therefore when i see an enemy i know what class he is using and what resources he has so you know what to expect from the enemy. nice game play here by the way. i like the way you work as a team. theres not many guys out there that play like that.

@SuperSonic285 thx. although ive used autoloader/thermal ops almost the whole time i use tanks, im starting to think proximity scan might be a better choice since i die so often to C4 guys from behind. i usually try to move around alot so that i can spot guys coming at me from the sides. then i back up and blast 'em. thats why its good never to be near a wall/building so u always have room to back up and get away. yah teamwork is so awesome when u find a guy who plays like that.

@KuzuRanger i use 2 setups depending on what enemy im up against in the game. if i find myself fighting other tanks in the game ill take reactive armor and the guided missile so you cant lose against a tank really. or if i find that im the only tank in the game or i am fighting infantry more than tanks ill go with the proxy scan and the LMG. but you can always take reactive armor and just get a team mate to drop in your tank with proxy for 1 second then you have proxy on your tank too.

@SuperSonic285 im starting to think that any setup can work well as long as u use its strengths. i was surprised seeing a few ppl use IR smoke/zoom but when u think about it tanks work the same as soldiers, so being a marksman can work too. i personally favor autoloader since its a versatile upgrade for any situation. and thermal optics help out a great deal too IMO. but thats just me. i should experiment more.

@imkillartist yah. actually had a better game, teamwork-wise last night. had a 3-man tank crew the whole game. i felt bad for the CITV spotter, but he was very helpful with marking and repairing. so hard to deal with 3man tank crew. booyah.

Tank buddies!! this is particularly fun in the LAV when you have guided missile unlocked. You can have a lot of tank buddies and use the tank as a squad spawn, offering a way for a recon player to quickly spawn in, drop off afar, and soflam your position for enemy armor. Also, your other squadmates can go engineer/medic to keep the whole crew alive

Do you prefer a tank over a chopper?

@conspiracyskateshop its not necessarily that i prefer tanks in terms of destructive power or usefulness. but considering i do much much better with them, i find them more effective & beneficial for me personally. a good chopper pilot + crew can do alot more damage overall, but i usually fail pretty hardcore and pretty quickly in a chopper. >_<
