I do not agree she was given an "External Reference" as she never looked at the band...I think that's just actually called "The Intro"!! But at 15 yrs. old...and the possibility of "Stage Fright" maybe they gave her a "Good Lookin' Out" cue in...but I highly doubt it!!! I've heard her sing a cappella several times....I think it is safe to give Le Ann all the props due!!!

roy forbes is teh best version out there....also known as bim, however, this versions problem is one thing..way to many instruments, it drowns the soulfulness thats intended for this song..

@JamieBreen Lady Gaga, in young 20's,calls her own shots. Awoke to her talent 'cause I listened to a country version? of Born This Way. ..LeAnn at 14 or 15 yrs old was just listening to her daddy or manager.(Not Vanity)

..and what's wrong with using the best of your voice to portray a song. ..her highs are like an angel's.

..liking Your favorite version is fine ...but, what you thought was showing off was just using a Good voice.

@Pablo11209 Whatever she was doing or why and without decrying her voice she killed the song. It is not as simple as having to sing badly to do that. Plenty of great singers have attempted this song over the years, I never gave a favourite I merely feel this is the worst version it is soulless not the way to perform a beautifully sad song.

Leanne is a fantastic singer, but there's nothing in this video that shows she has "perfect pitch." Perfect pitch is a musical term that means someone is capable of singing a specific note (such as A, D, F#, etc) without any external reference (such as a piano or other instrument). Leanne certainly sings "on key" or "in tune" and she does possess "relative pitch," but since the band had to give her a reference note before she began, she probably does not have perfect pitch.

@rmj5 the band did not HAVE to give her a reference point.. it was the intro to the song which hundreds of songs have... I can tell you first hand,,,, no PROBABLY about it,,, she DOES have perfect pitch... I dont need your lesson in music terminology... some people(like yourself) get satifaction out of making fun of people that post a video with their own idea of what the title should .. hope you feel better now that the title is changed.but does not change the fact you were DEAD wrong!!
