Then you have plagiarized scenes from Hitchcock's ' birds', 'event horizon', and others, and finally, it's ridiculous the way the president of the USA basically sacrifices his family by saying if the other wives and children in LA have no possibility of surviving, why should the wife and daughter of the president? This so called film has flaws from beginning to end in my modest opinion...

By far the worst adaptation of a book and considering the 1971 film is very good,I can't think of an explanation for this abomination. People setting themselves on fire and cutting their heads off when only a few people die and they have no idea of what is happening. This thing, some call a film is nothing but senseless violence and ridiculous scenes to try to squeeze some understanding of the story, like the scene of the rat baiting the guy having a s*it.
