I live on my own in California and you know how high cali is. If your spending rent on lotto then you don't need to live on your own get yourself together. So, if U 18 yrs old U should have $18,000. I know that's tough for an 18 Y/O to do BUT...

By the time yo ass is 60 U should at least have $60,000. That aint asking much.

Paying only the minimum is not good advice at all. That's how your interest builds up. These companies are out to get your money why would their minimum be the best thing you could do. I repeat paying the minimum is just not enough to get you out of debt. Pay attention to your interest rates people.

If they call u anytime b4 7 AM and AFTER 10PM you can go to court and sue them.... and I believe after 3 yrs n if its 5,000 or less the debt is null in void,but your credit ans fico score will take a hit.If you get a credit card make sure you have a low APR rate.Now if you are in credit card debt try and consolidate your debt for a low APR rate and pay more than the minimum. if you have been layd off and your on emergency fund DO NOT LIVE AS IF ITS REGULAR INCOME cause 8mths easily turn to 4mths
