We stayed at the old hospital last spring and through the night we had a happening. The tv directory flew off the top of the tv and hit the wall. The windows were all closed as were the doors. Don't know what caused it to fly to the floor. Very scarey.Of course we are going back next spring.
I will never go back into the Jerome insane assylum ever again! When I was a teenager, 6 friends and myself went into it at night. We heard doors slamming shut and then a male voice sream in terror from up the main stairwell. We ran out of there so fast!
No, since the 1990s it has been restored and is open as the Jerome Grand Hotel. The hotel is very high quality. It does, however, have a high incidence of, shall we say, "occurences".

I actually have witnessed a few anomalies and unexplained things myself at the Old Spirit Room, and the rooms upstairs in the 80's..It was a blast.
