Per the Toronto Globe and Mail, in a story that was the lead on the paper's front page today, that call to the Canadian embassy was actually from the Clinton campaign, not Obama's
"Mr. [Ian] Brodie, [PM Harper's chief of staff], during the media lockup for the Feb. 26 budget, stopped to chat with several journalists, and was surrounded by a group from CTV. The conversation turned to the pledges to renegotiate the North American free-trade agreement made by the two Democratic contenders, Mr. Obama and New York Senator Hillary Clinton.
"Mr. Brodie, apparently seeking to play down the potential impact on Canada, told the reporters the threat was not serious, and that someone from Ms. Clinton's campaign had even contacted Canadian diplomats to tell them not to worry because the NAFTA threats were mostly political posturing. The Canadian Press cited an unnamed source last night as saying that several people overheard the remark.
"The news agency quoted that source as saying that Mr. Brodie said that someone from Ms. Clinton's campaign called and was 'telling the embassy to take it with a grain of salt.'
It was reported on CBC this morning that it was the CLINTON CAMPAIGN that spoke to Canadian officials with regard to renegotiating NAFTA - NOT the Obama campaign. Given the accusations made against Obama, I hope the truth will now come out. Hilary has something to answer for.
Hopefully folks from Ohio realize that if Obama messes with NAFTA, their 18 BILLION in exports to Canada (and that's just from Ohio alone!) would be in jeopardy! It's in the best interests of the U.S. to find a president that isn't going to undo all the good that NAFTA has brought to the U.S.
evidence is that picture Obama on muslim uniform shown in this debate he is defenitely muslim, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to downplay his Muslim background. ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Koran The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the U.S. from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level
Obama is spend 5 times more than Hillary. The experts will tell you whoever spends more money is more likely to win. Obama is getting a lot of money from someone!
Julian Epstein, and anybody else who thinks Obama's untested for the Republican Machine, should think twice about how deftly he has overcome the famous Clinton Machine. The primary is the test and Obama passes.
Republican pundits like Rush and Laura are telling "Republicans" to cast their vote in Texas and Ohio for Clinton because McCain can beat Clinton. They are saying that because they know Obama WILL beat McCain! He's tested, GOP knows it, he's ready and they are scared. 80% of The Public disapproves of Bush...McCain has been endorsed by Ex-President Bush...voters are not going to vote for 4 more years of Bush Policy. Whoever get The Democratic Nomination will be the next President.VOTE OBAMA!!

Hillary is so entrenched in the Washington establishment that she'll never be able to both sides together in any way.
As for Obama, he is tested but he has voted to give Big Coal subsidies so he's entrenched but far less "worse" than Hillary.
But it's not about voting the lesser of 2 evils. Since Kucinich is no longer running, the way to help Americans is through Nader.
