  • Great!

  • is dis vivan vilerstein

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • Having looked at the other Joseph video the Fiddler is also his rhythm guitarist!!

It is roumoured that Joseph had to fill in when Django did his "No shows" but as we all know the Manouche are multi talented, playing lead and rhythm.

  • who's the fiddler?

  • I think the Fiddler is Vivian Villerstein... not sure, but I guess.

  • is that a bigsby on his guitar??

  • Looks like a dearmond rhythm chief to me.

  • Great, I never knew, that Joseph was such a good guitar player. Is this little video part of a movie?

  • yea, some say he wrote half the songs that django got credit for. i wouldnt doubt that its true. django was an egomaniac

  • Joseph made the guitar himself. It was reputed by others to be unplayable. Marvellous to see him using Django's fingerings here.

  • Very interesting to see Joseph playing solo! Thanks for this post.

  • Interesting guitar. Not a selmer/maccaferri! Great music! Thanks

  • Tamborr: Thanks for that info.

  • The tune seems to be "Sonny Boy" (of which there is a famous Andrews Sisters interpretation)

  • Thanks for posting this!

  • great!
